Got some great feedback regarding how annoying it is to move crates, barrels, and rocks out of the way to grab other objects. There are some major reworks I would do to fully fix this, but here are some small changes to make sure I can submit in time for the game jam:
- More than doubled the time it takes for crates, barrels, and rocks to move back to their original position. This gives the player a lot more time to find and grab a hidden object while still having a little bit of a challenge. (BTW: you can grab objects through other objects if you know where to click.. but you didn't hear that from me)
- Increased the coin colliders to make them easier to grab. I intended for you to be fully zoomed in to grab them but that's really annoying with having to also move objects out of the way. This should make it a little more forgiving.
- Decreased camera movement sensitivity. This means the mouse needs to be a lot closer to the edge of the screen while dragging to move the camera. I might have overdone this but it definitely makes moving barrels, crates, and rocks way less frustrating as the camera moves less with it. An eventual rework would be having the camera not move at all when moving these non-quest objects.
